When you connect your Google account to Make Questions, we request access to the following Google services:

  • Google Docs: To create new documents containing your exported questions as printable worksheets with optional answer keys
  • Google Forms: To create new forms containing your exported questions as auto-graded quizzes

How We Use Your Google Data

We use your Google authorization solely to:

  • Create new Google Docs and Forms in your Google Drive when you choose to export
  • The created documents and forms belong to you and appear in your Google Drive

What We Do NOT Do

  • We do NOT read, modify, or delete your existing Google documents or forms
  • We do NOT access any other Google services, files, or data
  • We do NOT share your Google data with any third parties
  • We do NOT use your Google data for advertising or marketing purposes
  • We do NOT use Google User Data to train, retrain, or fine-tune AI or machine-learning models

AI services only receive text that you manually enter into Make Questions. Google User Data obtained via Google APIs is never sent to AI services.

Token Storage and Security

When you connect your Google account, we securely store OAuth tokens that allow us to create documents and forms on your behalf. These tokens are:

  • Encrypted and stored securely in our database
  • Associated only with your Make Questions account
  • Never shared with third parties
  • Automatically refreshed as needed for continued access

Revoking Google Access

You can disconnect your Google account at any time:

When you disconnect, we immediately delete your stored Google OAuth tokens from our systems.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Make Questions’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
